How it works
The owner connects a Google account and chooses one Drive folder in the Android app. Photo Frame reads supported photos from subfolders of that folder, then prepares screen-sized copies for display on the device. The owner can enable photos directly in the selected folder through a setting, and configure how the photos are shown.
Drive access and changes
Google’s drive.file permission allows access to files selected or opened with the app,
including the ability to change or delete them. Photo Frame reads the included photos. Its optional
write-back setting, when explicitly armed by the owner, can replace a selected photo in Drive with
the prepared JPEG version. Write-back is off by default.
Read the Photo Frame privacy information for details about local copies, access, and removal, and the Photo Frame terms before using write-back.
