Choose photos you may use
Connect a Google account and select a Drive folder only when you have permission to use the photos in it. Photo Frame reads supported photos from its subfolders for display on the device. Photos directly in the selected folder are included only if the owner enables that setting.
Control write-back
The requested drive.file permission can allow changes and deletion of files selected
or opened with the app. Photo Frame’s write-back feature is off by default. If you explicitly arm
it, Photo Frame can replace eligible Drive photos in place with prepared JPEGs. Keep your own originals
or backups before enabling write-back if you want to preserve them.
Stop using the connection
You can revoke Google Drive access in your Google Account’s third-party connection settings. You can clear the app’s storage or uninstall it to remove local Photo Frame copies from the device.
